Looking at Old Things; Hoping for New Things.

I walk into the store, my tail gently swaying back and forth. I ignore the shopkeeper, instead looking at some of the items on display. One catches my eye, so I walk over and pick it up. It is an overly-ornate gun. I open the gun, and to my surprise, it still has bullets. Silver, huh? I think, turning it over in my hand and removing one of the bullets with a snort of derision.

Havis looks across from the other side of the shop and sees a girl over by the cases thinking she's kinda cute i wonder what she's like walking up behind her trying to think of something to say.

I put the bullet back in the gun, and just continue enjoying the fine details in its design. It was a fairly light gun. I contemplate buying it, even if only for the sake of the irony.

Havis taps the girl on the shoulder and says "Hi, that's a nice piece but it's mostly for show." he then whispers to her "Don't waste your money unless you just like the way it looks"

"Hm?" I ask calmly, turning to the boy, "I like it. And who are you, anyway?" I am not perturbed at all, I had been hearing and smelling him for a while, even before he speak.

"My name is Havis and its good to see people can like such crafted objects and make them as well" Havis says "What's your name if i may ask" hoping that he'd gotten in a good first impression.

"I'm Chiaka." I say, turning and walking over to the shopkeeper. "How much do you want for this?" I ask. The shopkeeper and I begin haggling.

That's a nice name he thinks but she kinda ignored me i'll just try again and walks over to the counter listening to the two people haggle themselves to a reasonable price deciding to kill time with a stick of mint&blood gum.

After having agreed on a price that made me happy, I turn to see Havis listening. "Hey, Havis, why're you here, anyway?" I ask, since I have nothing interesting to do, anyway.

"Well i was looking for somewhere to kill time but this place actually has some good stuff" Havis replies "But then you walked in and I had to say hi not many come in here and actually look at the stuff"

"Why else would someone come here?" I ask, completely confused. "Anyway, I've got time to kill, if you want company." I say, feeling fairly generous.

"You'd be surprised some people just come in here to mess around with the stuff with no respect" Havis said rather seriously "and i'd love to be in your company Chiaka."

"Cool. Where to? I was thinking about getting some food..." I say, hoping he would find the idea of food agreeable enough. The guy seemed pretty laid back, and she liked how serious about things he could get.

"That sounds lovely I'll treat you to anything you like since i won't be eating much" Havis says "just tell me where to escort you" intensely glad that he hadn't butchered his chances and now that he had some company.

Drago walks into the store uncertain of anything the store sells since he just moved in.He walks around a bit and sees a woman and a young man."Hey do you guys thunk you can tell me a little about this town?I'm new so I don't really know anything about it."They look like they were about to leave I hope I didn't just ruin something that would be awkward.

"Hm? I can't help you, I'm new here, too," I say, trying not to appear too surprised by the dragon.

"Why don't we all just go around town and look for something to eat if you care to join us Mr.----" Havis says waiting for a name to call the large dragon "That's what we were about to do."

"Oh sorry I never said my own name.I'm Drago.And i guess I could join you it would give me the opportunity to meet some new people and get to know this town a little better."This is the most awkward moment of my life.Drago looks a bit surprised.They're not scared of me?"Sorry if intruded on your plans.For some reason this town gives me a strange vibe.It's almost,perfect.

"I don't mind. Let's get going." I say with a shrug. Great. Thanks for asking my opinion, Havis, I think sarcastically. Not like I'd say no, but.... I nod. "We going?" I ask absentmindedly, not realizing I was basically repeating my self.

s"Are you okay?You look a bit..nervous."He said it without asking didn't he?"You guys lead the way."Drago feels like if he was intruding into the situation.

"So Chiaka where'd you like to go" Havis says completly oblivious to the others moods that his invitation had brought on "this was your idea so you can choose whatever we run into out in the town my treat" and the blows a big bubble with his gum and smiles a really goofy crooked smile.
